What can you expect when you visit Poplar Hill Missionary Baptist Church?

When you arrive, will most likely receive a very warm greeting by several members. Our very friendly ushers will give you a bulletin and escort you to a very comfortable seat, of which we hope you don't remain in it. Hopefully all of the singing, clapping, and praising God for all of His goodness will compel you to do the same. However, if you are more comfortable worshipping God seated, please feel free to do just that.

Poplar Hill Baptist Church has a wonderful motto which states we are "A Christ Centered Church Where Love Is The Greatest". Upon your visit with us, you will find sincere, friendly people who really love and enjoy sharing lot's of laughter and conversation with each other. Depending on the time you arrive, you may also walk in on a dynamic, spirit filled, traditional devotional service led by our deacons ministry, followed by an uptempo, slightly more modern contemporary praise service led by our Praise Team. Please remove all inhibitions and join right in with us.

Our sanctuary is not overwhelming. If you are looking for a lot of fanciness and things that are shiny, you wont find a lot of that. However, what you will find is a group of people who love and enjoy being readers, hearers, and most of all, doers of God's Word.

It is always our prayer that you and/or your family would consider a visit to Poplar Hill. Be prepared to leave just a little better than you were when you arrived. Come just as you are and let God move from there!!! We'll look for you at about 11:00.
